As you have noticed, for several days now, Microids has become somewhere our little red thread on the editorial side. It must be said that since the beginning of the year, the French publisher has multiplied strong announcements and quite surprising game releases. It is certain, Microids now wants us to take it seriously and wants to enter the big leagues, by giving itself the means to achieve its ambitions. Between the arrival of Asterix & Obelix: Slap them all, Marsupilami: Le Secret du Scarcophage (which looks a lot like Donkey Kong Country) and the next Syberia: The World Beforce, the firm led by Stéphane Longeard has something to challenge us . We went knocking on their door to better understand this metamophosis which has been taking place internally for a few years now and the fruits of which have finally been seen since 2021. We recall that Microids has also signed a partnership with Data East and Taito, two major Japanese brands which were the flagship of the arcade game in the 80s / 90s, and which seem to trust the French publisher to revive some of their strong licenses.
